Three things we learned as Hibs conjure late magic again to draw with nine-man Rangers

Hibs snatched a point at the death against Rangers as they drew 2-2 in a bonkers Premiership game full of drama.

It was a fiery match in Edinburgh with big tackles and plenty of energy out in from both sides at Easter Road. Rangers were the team that should have been ahead though after Tom Lawrence passed up a golden chance at goal to try and set up Ryan Kent, with his choice not proving the right one. Lee Johnson then made a double switch to aid Hibs' bright start in proceedings

His team then had a penalty call waved away after a Chris Cadden cross and there was controversy at the other end as Rocky Bushiri was deemed to have fouled Antonio Colak in the box by referee Willie Collum. Up stepped James Tavernier to convert and change the game dynamics dramatically two minutes before half-time. Martin Boyle restored parity after the break but it was short-lived thanks to a Tom Lawrence header.

A pulsating contest took two major turns when John Lundstram was sent off for a cynical foul on Boyle, before Morelos came on and hit Ryan Porteous' face, seeing red for doing so. Josh Campbell then struck a sweet goal on 93 minutes to spark more stoppage time scenes and move his team onto five points from four games. Here are three things we learned from the game.

Youan the menace

The St Gallen loanee was rampant in attack for Hibs and provided the Rangers back four with plenty of questions. He pressed all day long and his assist for Boyle was fantastic. He looks a great signing for Johnson.

Decision controversy

VAR won't be in Scottish football until later this season and decisions like this one will be put under a major spotlight until then. Bushiri gave the referee a decision to make and debate rages now over whether it was or not.

There was contact but whether it was enough for a penalty or not will be scrutinised, with Lundstram's sending off seeing the SFA slated by the away end.

Late drama

Hibs fans are going to need a strong heart this season. Every single game so far this season has been decided by a goal after 85 minutes. Buckle up, Hibees.
