Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has outlined three things UK households should do before energy bills soar on April 1.
From the start of next month, the energy regulator Ofgem's price cap will jump from £1,277 to £1,971.
Prepayment customers will be worse hit, with a jump of £708 from £1,309 to £2,017, which could plunge many households into debt.
