With autumn here and the cooler weather arriving, it's time for weekends spent exploring the most stunning locations for autumn foliage, and people will be keen to get out and see the stunning reds, oranges and golds. To help decide where to go, Eden’s Gate has found the answer, having collated a unique seed list of 35 of the world’s most beautiful autumn locations, scraping and extracting data directly from the popular photo-sharing platform Pinterest for the total number of pins and boards, officially ranking the most spectacular traveller approved autumnal hotspots globally.
And it seems that Scotland is one of the best countries to head to watch the colours change, with a whopping three entries in the top 25, placing it in third place behind only Japan and the US.
And it's no wonder, thanks to Scotland's beautiful array of breath-taking scenery, awe-inspiring lochs and idyllic villages and towns.

With 15,348 pinned posts on Pinterest, the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh takes 17th spot as one of the most beautiful locations around the world for autumn.
While the beautiful town of Pitlochry in Perthshire was named in 20th with 8,832 pinned posts and Edinburgh's Princes Street Gardens came in 24th on the list world with 2,187 pinned posts.
