Three Scots schoolkids reported missing in Ayrshire traced 'safe and well'

Three Scots teenagers who disappeared from their homes in Ayrshire have been traced "safe and well".

Stuart McGrath and Millie Steevley from Ardrossan and Ellie-Mae Young from Saltcoats had last been seen at their homes at around 8.15am on Monday, May 22.

At the time, police believed the trio, who are all 13 years old, were linked.

Officers issued photographs of the three teens on Tuesday night, along with descriptions.

And the force urged the missing trio to get in touch.

Police announced on Wednesday morning the youngsters had been traced.
