Three Poland fans banned from going to football after flares at Wales match

Three Poland fans have been banned from going to football games after using flares during a UEFA Nations League win over Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Flares were lit in the away fans' section on September 25 during the Polish national anthem and again when the visitors scored the only goal of the contest. One flare or firework was fired from the stands into the sky.

Four Poland supporters who live in England were charged with possessing a firework / flare at a sporting event. Sebastian Gonicki, Martin Koczur, Krzysztof Ilnicki and Mateusz Jaroz appeared at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty.
