Three players Chelsea could sign from Juventus amid board exodus including Federico Chiesa deal

In a shocking twist, the board of directors at Juventus resigned on Monday after the Serie A side recorded losses of €254.3million (£219million) for the past season. As reported by Goal, that decision was taken following an investigation into alleged false accounting and communication on behalf of the Bianconeri, with CONSOB – the body in charge of supervising activity on the Italian stock market – asking for clarification on their balance sheet.

According to Sky Italy, via Tancredi Palmeri on Twitter, Juventus' situation could be as dangerous as it was in 2006, when the giants were relegated to Serie B after revelations occurred over match-fixing. While they bounced back and went on to dominate the top division again, there were a number of players sold at the time.

Given the inflation of football finances, it would be difficult for the current squad to face that same fate and stay at the club as it is currently. It could allow other sides to land players that would be otherwise unattainable from the European giants in the transfer market.
