The drama unfolded off the coast of Howth, North Co Dublin, close to the East pier and Ireland’s Eye this Saturday.
The Civil Defence, Fire Brigade, Howth RNLI, National Ambulance Service Irish Coast Guard Sikorsky S-92 Air and Sea Rescue helicopter R116 and gardai were involved in the rescue.
