Three people arrested following a fatal crash in Salford have been released under investigation. Dad James Dickson, known as 'Dicko' to his friends, died following a smash between several vehicles in Little Hulton on Sunday night.
Another man, in his 60s, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Two men and a woman were arrested following the crash.

All three have since been released under investigation, police said on Thursday. Emergency services were called to Manchester Road East just before 9pm. James, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following his death friends paid tribute to the dad, describing him as having 'the biggest heart'. One wrote that Little Hulton had 'lost a legend', adding: "The most loveable rogue there ever was with the biggest heart. I will miss bumping into him and reminiscing about our younger wild days. Absolutely devastated."
Manchester Road East was blocked off in both directions between Bridgewater Street and Hilton Lane as police and forensics carried out an investigation. The main road was shut overnight.
Speaking at the time a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "At around 8.50pm on Sunday 19 June 2022, we received a report of a collision on Manchester Road East, Little Hulton. A man in his 30s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"Three people – two men and one woman – have been arrested in connection with the incident. One of the men and the woman remain in police custody for questioning."
