Three men charged with murder after man stabbed to death following argument in Ealing pub

Three men have been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death following an argument inside a pub in West Ealing.

The Metropolitan Police were called at around 7.50pm on April 6 to a disturbance at The Old Hat on Uxbridge Road at the junction with Singapore Road.

A dispute spilled out of the pub and a 39-year-old man was stabbed to death, the force previously said.

Three men were arrested on Wednesday and charged overnight on Thursday.

They are Leon Woods, 42, from Ealing, Cleveland McEntee, 39, from Hammersmith, and Tron McEntee, 34, from Perivale.

They will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

A 30-year-old woman who was also arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday has been bailed until a date in mid-June.

DCI Laura Nelson, leading the Met’s investigation, previously said: “This senseless murder arose from what appears to have been a minor dispute inside a pub. The dispute spilled outside where the victim was fatally stabbed.

“Although formal identification has yet to take place, we believe we know the man’s identity and have informed his family. I send my most sincere condolences to them.

“It is crucial that anyone who was in the pub on Saturday night who may have seen anything significant makes contact with police and tells us what they saw.

“I also need to hear from anyone who recorded mobile phone footage which may have captured the disturbance, the build up to it or the aftermath.

“Police cordons will remain in place well into Monday, 8 April, and possibly beyond. These will include parts of Uxbridge Road / The Broadway in West Ealing.

“Specialist officers are conducting a full forensic examination of the scene, working alongside local officers and other specialists from across the Met. This work will take some time, and I thank local people for their patience.”

Any witnesses or anyone with information can call the police on 0208 7858244.
