Three men arrested over Sam Rimmer murder released

Three people arrested on suspicion of murdering Sam Rimmer have been released.

Announcing the news during a media briefing this morning, Merseyside Police confirmed that three men have been released on bail as investigations continue. The arrests were made yesterday, on Wednesday, August 24, after police carried out raids in connection to recent gun violence.

After the warrants were carried out across the L8 area of the city, a 21-year-old man, from Dingle, a 17-year-old man, from Liverpool city centre and a 20-year-old, also from the city centre, were arrested on suspicion of murder. All have been released from custody after questioning.
