Domestic football is back at Old Trafford. After the World Cup final on Sunday, there is little time to take a breath as Manchester United are back in action against Burnley in the EFL Cup.
With the lack of a break following the tournament in Qatar, Erik ten Hag has some decisions to make ahead of the fixture. This may mean that some players who have found themselves on the sidelines under Ten Hag may get a chance to prove themselves in this fixture - a last chance saloon so to speak.
So let's take a look at three United players who could start against Burnley and need to take their chance:

Aaron Wan-Bissaka
United fans' worst fears have been realised in the sense that Diogo Dalot is injured and the team doesn't have a replacement ready and waiting in the wings. Many would argue that Wan-Bissaka should be that, but he has only played four minutes so far this season competitively and has been absent from the conversation, showing how far his stock has fallen.
But Burnley will present Wan-Bissaka with one last chance to prove his worth at Old Trafford. Reports have already started to emerge about a potential sale in January, but a good performance could put him back in Ten Hag's thinking, especially with a number of games before the winter transfer window opens.
Harry Maguire
Despite his poor form last season and losing his place to Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane, Maguire had an excellent World Cup with England and many United fans are hoping that he will be able replicate this form at club level.
With Martinez still celebrating Argentina's win and Varane also likely to return back a little later due to his participation in the final, Maguire might get his chance to start and show that he can still be a useful asset for United's backline.
Zidane Iqbal
The young Iqbal impressed during pre-season and given the occasion he might be given a chance to show that he can do it in a competitive game against Burnley.
United need a midfielder who can help them control possession and Iqbal has shown in the few glimpses that fans have been able to get of him that he could be that player. However, he needs more gametime before a serious conclusion can be drawn.
