- Ukrainian officials confirmed the attack, which impacted public transport.
- Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said the strike occurred during rush hour as people were travelling to work, calling it a “devastating blow”.
- Meanwhile, a nighttime attack on Ukraine’s southern port city of Odesa heavily damaged an apartment block, killing two women and a two-year-old child, officials said.
- Eleven people were hospitalised, including a pregnant woman and two children, the youngest less than a year old.
