Tragedy struck the small city of Fordyce, Arkansas, as a shooting incident at the Mad Butcher grocery store resulted in three fatalities and 10 individuals sustaining injuries. Among the wounded are two police officers, with the suspected shooter identified as 44-year-old Travis Eugene Posey.
Authorities have indicated that Posey, a resident of New Edinburg, is expected to face three counts of capital murder, with additional charges pending. The incident unfolded when law enforcement received reports of an active shooter at approximately 11:30 a.m. local time.
