Firefighters in Nottinghamshire rescued three dogs from a burning house on Saturday.
Fire crews from Ashfield, Mansfield and Alfreton fire stations brought the fire under control at the property in Festus Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, and managed to bring the dogs out to safety. On arrival at the house, firefighters saw smoke rising from the property and quickly donned breathing apparatus before entering the building.
They extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and were able to rescue the dogs, which they handed over to the owner fit and well.
