Authorities in Connecticut are investigating a devastating fire that resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including an 8-month-old baby. The incident occurred in Wallingford, a town located approximately 14 miles north of New Haven.
The fire was reported around 6 p.m. on Wednesday at a residence in Wallingford. Upon arrival, emergency responders found a man outside the home with severe burns. He was airlifted to a hospital burn center in critical condition. Tragically, a 19-year-old and the infant were discovered inside a second-floor apartment. Despite efforts to save them, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other succumbed to injuries at a hospital.
