Chelsea hero Frank Lampard appears to be edging towards a return to the Premier League, with reports suggesting he has been offered the Everton job.

The former midfielder is set to return to the game exactly a year after being sacked by the Blues and will replace fellow ex-Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez at Goodison Park.

It goes without saying that Lampard has a considerable job on his hands on Merseyside, with the Toffees having endured a torrid first-half to the 2021/22 campaign.
