'Three Brits in Hollywood': Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell dine with Dame Joan Collins

Amanda Holden shared a picture of herself out for dinner with Dame Joan Collins and Simon Cowell at a glitzy restaurant in Hollywood as she took to Instagram on Sunday.

The fabulous trio smiled as they joined talent manager Jonathan Shalit for his birthday at an Italian restaurant called Cecconi.

Amanda, 51, dazzled in a sparkling jumpsuit while fellow Britain's Got Talent judge Simon, 62, sported dark trousers and shirt, with his left arm in a bandage, after he broke it during a fall near his West London home earlier this year.

Dame Joan, 88, looked elegant as ever as she wore a sophisticated a black dress and jacket with a long necklace, and a flawless make-up look.

Amanda also shared a group photo of the three with Jonathan as well as Simon's partner Lauren Silverman for the showbiz get-together.

The fancy restaurant, which a popular celeb hotspot in Los Angeles, served the group a selection of drinks.

The Heart Radio presenter had captioned the post: "A wonderful evening celebrating @jonathanshalit birthday... Happy Easter Everyone..."

Golden Globe winner Dame Joan shared the same photo of the trio, writing: "Three brits in Hollywood", and tagging Cecconi restaurant .

Amanda and Simon returned to TV screens on Saturday night in the first episode of the new Britain's Got Talent series on ITV.

Earlier this week, Amanda vowed to keep wearing revealing outfits on the show, despite the torrent of complaints they receive.

Each series Amanda's skimpy dresses are one of the biggest talking points, not least as some viewers deem them too risqué for a family show.

But she has vowed to keep her wardrobe racy for the 15th year of the hit show.

The mum-of-two says: “I am thinking more rubber. I enjoyed wearing latex in the audition, and I am thinking more latex in their lives. More latex, and more sweating.”

However, it was the Julien Macdonald creation she wore in 2017, with its neckline plunging all the way down to her navel, that sparked the biggest fan frenzy with Ofcom receiving 663 complaints about it.

Despite the controversy, Amanda has never been censored by either Ofcom or ITV.

Fans were excited for BGT to return after the show last aired in 2020 due to the pandemic, with last night's episode securing 6.1m viewers, with a peak of 7.2million.

It was less than the 2020 series which saw an average of 8.6m tune into the first episode according to tellymix, with a peak of just under 10m.

It's not known whether that includes people watching it on catch up or their computers and tablets.

A show spokesman told Mirror Online: "It was amazing to welcome back our viewers last night and celebrate BGT being back on TV. BGT launched with 6.1m with a peak of 7.2m and a 41% share.

"Pretty amazing for a very warm bank holiday. The highest rated show of 2022 has 6.3million, so everyone is pleased.

"These figures do not account for anybody watching the show on catch up, digital devices or social media platforms."
