Police have arrested a 53-year-old man from Waterloo, a 19-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman from Litherland on suspicion of drug supply offences. All three remain in custody for questioning by detectives.
Operation Pelican is an ongoing police campaign and was launched in 2017 to combat the drug trade and gang violence in Bootle, Netherton, Litherland and the surrounding areas. It has had several notable successes due to its specific targeting and pursuit of intelligence gathering in the region.
