Thousands of men flee Russia after Putin’s call for military mobilisation

Thousands of men of fighting age in Russia were today attempting to flee the country to avoid a call-up to fight in Ukraine.

Both Finland and Georgia reported heavy traffic on their borders following Vladimir Putin’s order for a partial military mobilisation.
