Thousands of Brits sombrely file past Queen's coffin through night in Edinburgh

Thousands of Brits filed overnight through St Giles' Cathedral, in Edinburgh, to see the Queen's coffin and pay their respects.

The Queen's coffin left Balmoral, where she died last Thursday, and began its final journey on Sunday, heading first to Edinburgh before it will be flown to London on Tuesday evening.

Her coffin was taken along the Royal Mile in the Scottish capital to lay at rest in the city's St. Giles Cathedral for 24 hours.
