Following Israel's intense bombardment of southern Lebanon, residents have been left traumatized by the devastation they witnessed. One man, identified as Ali, recounted the horrors he saw, including dead bodies on the roadside and ambulances being targeted while trying to reach the injured.

Ali's father also spoke out against the Israeli attacks, describing them as barbaric and indiscriminate. He refuted Israeli claims that the targets were Hezbollah positions, stating that innocent families and civilians were the ones suffering the most.

Another family, Om Hussein's, shared their harrowing journey fleeing southern Lebanon. They endured a grueling 14-hour journey to reach safety in Beirut, facing congested roads and a lack of basic necessities like food and water along the way. Despite the challenges, they were grateful for the assistance provided by volunteers who distributed water to those in need.

The accounts from these residents shed light on the human toll of the conflict in southern Lebanon and the urgent need for humanitarian assistance to support those affected by the violence.
