Guests at the venue were evacuated when fire, that started in the boiler room, started to rip through the roof space of the building.
Now the venue has issued a comment to those who are set to get married in the venue in the coming weeks.
Josh Griffiths, general manager at the Thornton Manor Estate, told the ECHO that the fire is being investigated by the relevant authorities.
He added: "We will endeavour to contact all our brides, grooms and event organisers as soon as possible.
"Finally, we would like to thank everyone for all their support and patience during this difficult time."
Incident Commander at Merseryside fire and rescue service, Ben Ryder said: "On Saturday evening fire crews attended a large fire at Thornton Manor, fortunately staff and guests were evacuated safely from a wedding reception being held and no one was hurt.
"The incident was prolonged and extremely challenging, with firefighters working at height in difficult weather conditions in a complex Grade II listed building.
"Firefighters worked relentlessly night and day throughout the weekend to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and I would like to express my thanks to them for their persistence and determination.
"Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service remains at the scene and a full investigation is being carried out."
Katie Jones attended her friend's wedding at Thornton Manor hotel on Saturday which she said started "amazingly".
When the fire started the music was halted and guests were suddenly asked to evacuate into the car park.
Katie, who lives in Ellesmere Port, said staff entered the room and began to chaperone the “concerned” wedding party out into the car park at around 9pm.
Despite the situation, Katie said the staff remained "brilliant at keeping people calm and safe" despite the nights "overwhelming" events.
