Thomas Tuchel pointing the finger of blame at himself following Chelsea's shock Champions League defeat has apparently come back to bite him.
The German coach was sacked on Wednesday morning following the Blues' defeat by Dinamo Zagreb, in which Mislav Orsic netted the only goal of the game in the thirteenth minute in Croatia.
Tuchel cut a frustrated figure in the Chelsea dugout and was even booked as the west London club kick-started their European campaign with a Group E defeat. The result saw Chelsea slip to three away losses in a row for the first time under the German.
