Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed Sadio Mane will be available to face Manchester City on Wednesday after serving an internal suspension.
Senegal international Mane was made unavailable for Bayern's weekend clash with Hoffenheim, with the club taking action after an incident involving the former Liverpool man and team-mate Leroy Sane. Mane is alleged to have hit Sane in the aftermath of the first-leg defeat against City at the Etihad Stadium.
Sane made an immediate return to action, starting Saturday's game and playing nearly an hour for Tuchel's side. He could be rejoined by Mane next time out, with the reigning Bundesliga champions chasing an unlikely European turnaround.
"Sadio has already reacted and apologized," Tuchel said. "He will train with us as normal tomorrow and be in the squad against Manchester City on Wednesday."
Bayern lost 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium in the first leg, with Rodri opening the scoring before Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland added gloss to the scoreline. It was the Bundesliga leaders' first defeat in this season's competition, with Tuchel's predecessor Julian Nagelsmann overseeing six group stage wins out of six and a last-16 victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
Mane was part of the Liverpool side which made it all the way to the final last season, but has not hit the same heights since his £35m summer move to the Allianz Arena. He has 11 goals in all competitions for his new club, but none since returning from the injury which kept him out of Senegal's World Cup campaign.

With Mane missing, Bayern dropped more points in their title push as Andrej Kramaric delivered a second-half equaliser for Hoffenheim. Challengers Borussia Dortmund could have joined Bayern on 59 points with a win at Stuttgart, but were held to a 3-3 draw despite their opponents playing more than half the game with 10 men.
While Bayern floundered, Man City had no such issues ahead of Wednesday's clash. Three first half goals helped them beat Leicester City by an eventual 3-1 scoreline, with manager Pep Guardiola given the luxury of withdrawing the likes of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne long before full-time in preparation for the European trip.
"It was a really good game after the Champions League as well, against a team that is fighting in a difficult position for them," Guardiola told Sky Sports after the win. "In the end when you make a lot of substitutions you drop a little bit. [We got the] three points and onto the next one.
"It was completely different because the guys that start the second half it was the same approach as the beginning. I have a little bit of experience to play in three days in the important stages and you make a lot of substitutions and some dynamics we have and some players don't. And when the game was under control we made the changes."
