Thomas Skinner says Britons ‘have no money’ and accuses Labour of ‘smacking’ businesses

Thomas Skinner says Britons are “struggling” amid the cost of living crisis, as he accused the Labour government of “smacking” small businesses.

Appearing on BBC Question Time on Thursday (26 March), the former Apprentice star said he and his peers constantly worry about money despite working “every hour”.

”People should be able to end of the week, enjoy a pint of beer, take their kids to the football, but they can't. Their pennies ain't going as far.”

He claimed that Labour are “smacking small businesses left, right and centre” and said that business owners should be given more support.

His comments were met with a round of applause from the audience.
