- Former Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey has pleaded not guilty to two new allegations of rape.
- He denied twice raping a woman in London on a day in December 2020 during an appearance at Southwark Crown Court.
- These new charges are in addition to five counts of rape against two other women and a sexual assault charge against a third, for alleged offences between 2021 and 2022.
- All allegations will now be tried together, with the trial potentially delayed until January next year.
- Partey, who left Arsenal for Spanish side Villarreal last summer, previously gave his address as Potters Bar in Hertfordshire.
