The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) have formally charged midfielder Thomas Partey with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.

It was revealed in July 2022 that an international player from a Premier League side had been arrested, with the player’s identity concealed throughout the three-year investigation into the allegations.
