Thomas Markle has blasted daughter Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry, calling him “ her ginger husband ”.
The 77-year-old was launching his new YouTube channel when he made the comments to close pal Karl Larsen.
He revealed is ready to give evidence against his estranged daughter in a court case brought by her half-sister Samantha.
Thomas announced that he would be “thrilled” to come face to face with Meghan and her husband Prince Harry, as reports the Mirror.
The father-of-three said he believed his eldest daughter Samantha should win the case, even saying he would be happy to give evidence on her behalf.
He added: “I would be more than happy to. I’ve been trying for almost four years to get to see my daughter and her ginger husband in a courtroom face-to-face.
“I’d be thrilled to defend my oldest daughter.”
Mr Markle also state that 40-year-old Meghan should settle the case, saying: “She can’t defend the things she said.”
Meghan's father and Karl Larsen have been inspired by straight-talking royal author Lady Colin Campbell and US podcast king Joe Rogan to start their new YouTube channel.
The pair plan on airing their views on current affairs - which will no doubt include Meghan and Harry - every week.
Mr Markle confirmed: "We have discovered YouTube... we've decided to join and share our story."
Samantha, 57, is suing her half-sister Meghan for $75,000 (£57,000), claiming she lied about her to the authors of controversial book Finding Freedom and in her TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The lawsuit was first revealed by the Sunday Mirror in November and was formally lodged in Florida last week.
Speaking in the debut episode, Thomas said: "I'm standing up for my oldest daughter, Samantha. In this case, she should win because Meghan's book was full of lies about her. I would appear in a deposition in this case, if it came to it."
Michael Kump, representing Meghan, called the lawsuit "baseless and absurd" and a "continuation of a pattern of disturbing behaviour".
He added: "We will give [the lawsuit] the minimum attention necessary, which is all it deserves."
In November, Meghan apologised to the Court of Appeal after emails contradicting a claim she did not collaborate with Finding Freedom authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand were disclosed.
The messages, revealed by Meghan's ex-communications secretary.
Jason Knauf, showed she sent details about Samantha and brother Thomas Jr to pass on for the book.
But Meghan insisted: "I had absolutely no wish or intention to mislead the defendant or the court."
Speaking about the motivation behind the podcast, Mr Markle's co-host Karl, 53, said: "Tom wants to do it to put his thoughts out there from the horse's mouth.
“He wants to speak about how Meghan and Harry have affected his family. The chat will be no-holds-barred.
"He wants his truth to be out there, just like Meghan's truth came out a year ago in her Oprah Winfrey interview.
"He also wants to speak about other things in the news, too."
Karl - an LA-based photographer who grew up in Winchester, Hants - added: "We're thinking of referring to ourselves as 'the yapper and the snapper' in future. It sounds more catchy than Tom and Karl."
The first episode went online on Sunday and also featured Mr Markle telling Karl that he was surprised Prince Harry didn't fly out to see him in person to ask for Meghan's hand in marriage.
He added: “I thought the Royals had some kind of sense of dignity where he would have taken the time to fly down and see me.”
