Thomas Frank has been rewarded for his fine work at Brentford with a new long-term contract extension.
The Bees announced on Monday morning that their popular Danish head coach had put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the club through the 2024/25 season.
Frank’s assistant Brian Riemer has agreed similar terms, with the pair continuing a partnership that has proven very fruitful for Brentford thus far.
Under their tutelage, which began in 2018, the club finally returned to English football’s top-flight for the first time since 1947 via the Championship play-offs.
Brentford have claimed some notable scalps in their maiden Premier League campaign and currently sit 14th in the table, still eight points clear of any relegation danger despite four straight defeats and with 15 matches left to play this term.

Brentford - who are set to sign former Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen on a six-month deal - also reached the Carabao Cup semi-finals under Frank last season.
“On behalf of everyone at Brentford, I’d like to congratulate Thomas and Brian on their new contracts. First and foremost, they are fantastic people to work with and I’m sure everyone at the Club will be pleased that they have committed to stay with us until 2025,” said Brentford director of football Phil Giles.
“They have been integral to the success that we’ve shared over recent seasons, culminating in achieving our shared target of playing in the Premier League. We want to continue to take Brentford forward, to compete with clubs far bigger than us, and to see how far we can progress.
“I am sure that we can build on the success that Thomas and Brian have helped deliver along with all of the other staff and players and look forward to what I hope will be a successful conclusion to the season and beyond.”
