Thomas Cook passenger 'had one pint of lager' before causing flight chaos

A plane passenger claimed she "had one pint of lager" before causing mayhem onboard the flight.

Katherine Heyes was travelling from Manchester Airport to Turkey on a Thomas Cook flight on Saturday, May 18 when the chaos ensued. The veterinary nurse has been allowed to keep her job following a disciplinary hearing, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Ms Heyes, from Wigan, was said to have been "screaming and swearing at everyone" during the flight in 2019, including a three-year-old child. The then 29-year-old was ordered to do 80 hours unpaid work back in July 2020 after admitting entering an aircraft when drunk.
