As expected, Thomas Brown wasn’t going there.
During this past Sunday’s loss to the New Orleans Saints, one in which the Carolina Panthers mustered up all of six points, the first-year offensive coordinator’s wife Jessica raised a few eyebrows. She replied to a less-than-flattering post about her husband with this:

Brown was asked for his reaction to the post during his pre-practice press conference on Thursday.
“No reaction at all,” he replied. “I think when you’re in a position of leadership—like I said before a few weeks ago, people will tell ya how great they think of you. When things aren’t goin’ well, they’ll tell you you suck. And there’s a small group that’ll tell you you suck, regardless.
“So, if you’re in this position and in this profession and that becomes your concern, you should probably find something else to do. I got no reaction at all to that. Business as usual. Back to work.”
The work will culminate into the team’s Week 15 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, where they look to finally chalk up their second win of this highly-criticized campaign.
