The gang of jailed drug baron Thomas “Bomber” Kavanagh is believed to have supplied the car used for the murder bid against Hutch associate James “Mago” Gately, we can reveal.
A British registered Peugeot was brought over from the UK by ferry and left in Dublin Airport by a senior Kinahan cartel member, who was a high ranking member of the gang along with Bomber.
The car was used by one of Kavanagh’s two main contacts in Ireland, Peadar Keating, who had been tasked with creating a murder cell to take out Gately.
