Sorry, Washington Football Team fans.
Even though your team isn’t in the postseason, we have to jump in here and remind you of something that has to do with your favorite franchise.
What do Sean McVay, Kyle Shanahan and Matt LaFleur have in common? Well, they’re all still coaching in upcoming NFL Divisional Round this weekend with the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers, respectively.
And … they were all once coaches together with the Washington Football Team.
I know: This is what happens with good coaches. They get hired elsewhere and, sometimes, become big names. But this is kind of rough:
#TBT to 2013, when Washington's coaching staff included Kyle Shanahan (OC), Matt LaFleur (QBs) and Sean McVay (TEs).
Today, they're three of the four remaining head coaches in the NFC playoff field 😳

Welp. Well, at least Ron Rivera is there now!
