Excel is one of the most used tools and a source of frustration for many professionals. However, this tool from Y Combinator, Carousel, aims to tackle that issue. The company wants to make Excel a tool that works with you, not against you.
Launched by co-founders Jude and Daniel, Carousel positions itself as a smarter, faster alternative to the grind of manual spreadsheet work. “Excel is powerful but painful,” the duo says in their announcement on YC’s official platform. Their startup is building what they call a “personal Excel intern,” but one that actually knows what it’s doing and never takes a break.
