Is Infantino’s World Cup investment plan Fifa’s Super League moment?

So $15bn wasn’t enough. That’s the record amount Fifa is estimated to have made from the 2026 World Cup, but Gianni Infantino wants more. Approximately $20bn more through an investment plan that would see soccer’s governing body sell the commercial rights to its tournaments, including the World Cup, to private investors.
