Last Saturday night’s Ballybay versus Crossmaglen tie only served to whet the appetite and the Ulster Club Championship moves up a gear this weekend.
The Monaghan champions, fresh from their surprise five-point victory over Cross, are back in action and have the unenviable task of facing reigning champions Kilcoo in Clones on Sunday.
The fixture has already prompted much debate with Ballybay’s joint-manager Jerome Johnston Snr stepping aside for the game to avoid managing against his native club and his three sons.

On Saturday night, Enniskillen Gaels host Gowna at Brewster Park with the remaining quarter-final games taking place on Sunday.
Antrim champions Cargin take on Donegal champions Naomh Conaill in Corrigan Park while the meeting of Glen and Errigal Ciaran is at Celtic Park.
The newly-crowned Tyrone champions take on their Derry counterparts in a fascinating contest which will be shown live on TG4.
Sunday also sees Moneyglass bid to halt Donaghmoyne’s bid for a fourth successive Ulster Ladies Senior title as St Ergnat’s bid to become the first senior champions from Ulster.
