It is round three of the Allianz Football League this weekend and a host of Ulster teams are in dire need of a win after disappointing starts to the 2023 campaign.
Indeed, Sunday’s Division One meeting between Monaghan and Donegal in Clones already feels like a must-win game for both counties - especially the hosts.
Few would have expected 2022 Division Two champions Roscommon to be leading the way in Division One after two rounds and Davy Burke’s men entertain Armagh at Dr Hyde Park and a win for either side would go a long way to guaranteeing top flight football for next season.

Tyrone, like Armagh, will have designs on picking up two points from their trip to Connacht as they face a depleted Galway side at Tuam.
In Division Two, Ulster champions Derry host Meath with both teams looking to continue their 100 per cent start to the League.
There’s another Ulster derby in Division Three as Fermanagh take on Down in Ederney while Antrim travel to Thurles to face Tipperary and Cavan host Longford at Kingspan Breffni.
There’s also a full round of fixtures in the Lidl Ladies National Football League and Armagh will be bidding to make it four wins from four when they take on Tyrone at O’Neills Healy Park in their Division Two clash on Sunday.
The Very Ireland Camogie League also gets under way this weekend and there’s an all-Ulster opener in Division 1B with Antrim hosting Down in Portglenone on Saturday.
