Neighbours on five Welsh streets will now have a little extra cash in their pockets, after their postcodes were drawn in the People's Postcode Lottery this week. Members of the lottery living on any of the five Welsh postcodes have each won £1,000, it's been confirmed. The lovely news comes after neighbours on six Welsh streets won £1,000 each last week and after neighbours living on Harris Avenue in Cardiff scooped up a fantastic £35,000 each a fortnight ago.
The People's Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 Postcode Trusts and one third of the price of every ticket bought is donated to charity. You can find out about the causes being supported on the lottery's website here. Players pay £10 per month to enter into the daily draw, with each daily draw shelling out £1,000 to Postcode Lottery players living on 20 lucky streets across the UK. There's also a weekly draw on a Thursday that awards £10 each to players in 1,000 postcodes.
Plus on Saturdays and Sundays players in winning postcodes bag £30,000+ each - and each month players in one postcode area share more than £3m. We've searched through the latest results to pick out all the winners in Wales. Scroll down for the most recent winning postcodes.
