This Viral Tiny ‘Sofa Table’ Turns Awkward Gaps Into Usable Space – and Banishes Dead Zones in Small Living Rooms

Viral skinny sofa table pictured against a powder blue, navy, and white background that features the H&G logo.

As someone who lives in NYC, that awkward gap behind the sofa feels personally offensive. What a waste of space – that’s easily a few hundred dollars of rent doing absolutely nothing. Too skinny for anything useful, right?

Or, so I thought – until I discovered an impossibly slim sofa table from Wayfair that slides right in, turning that awkward, small living room sliver into a surprisingly chic vignette. Judging by the nearly 900,000 views the demonstration has racked up on TikTok, I’d say it’s having a bit of a viral moment.
