Three Agfa Photo Realishot DC8300 digital cameras stacked; one red, one white, and one black, each labeled "21 Mega Pixels".

On April 3rd, 2026, Asanuma Corporation will release the Agfa Photo Realishot DC8300 in Japan, a compact camera with 8x optical zoom and up to 21MP stills, priced at ¥22,000 – already available in the US for only $99.99.

Affordable, easy-to-use point-and-shoot cameras are popular these days, dominating best-seller compact camera charts, especially in Japan. Agfa Photo's latest release could be next in line.
