When the days turn unbearably hot and humid, getting dressed each morning can feel like a chore.
Where winter layering offers interesting ways to style and curate pieces, summer leaves much to be desired as we try to beat the heat in as little as possible, while still looking cute. So how do you look put-together without breaking a literal sweat? The answer is quite simple, actually: a matching set.
And, I’ve found the perfect option for spring and summer.
I recently added this silky short-sleeve set from Atmos&Here to my wardrobe and it’s already gotten a serious workout.
It’s lightweight and slouchy making it an easy throw-on-and-go option for busy work mornings while still looking like I’ve made a considered effort with my outfit for the day.
There’s nothing quite like being pyjama-level comfy and looking chic.
There’s also something about a silky fabric that just looks and feels elevated—it’s fitting for work or Friday drinks with friends. Where this affordable set has truly excelled however, is on my recent trip overseas.
Facing a 15-hour flight, choosing the perfect plane outfit can make all the difference in your flight, and this didn’t disappoint. Not only did I garner multiple compliments from the airline attendants, but it was ultra comfortable, even when my seat wasn’t.
I opted for the colour ‘silver dusk’ which is somewhere between a pewter and an ashy mauve, but it also comes in a pearl or steele blue.
When it comes to styling, I’ve found a strappy or chunky sandal makes for effortless pairing, but the set would look equally stylish with a heeled thong or mule for an evening affair.
My only qualm is that the fabric does stain easily so, if you’re a messy eater or prone to spills, beware.
