Now that Halloween is over and we’re heading into the festive season, it’s no surprise that the biggest streaming services are seeing a shift in their trending lists. You only have to look at Prime Video’s No. 1 movie, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” to see what viewers are in the mood for. But the streamer also has a newer addition in its top 10 that fits the spirit of the season in a different way: the Swedish sci-fi flick “Watch the Skies.”
Originally titled “UFO Sweden” in its native country, this sci-fi adventure is actually the first feature movie visually dubbed entirely with AI. That process allowed the cast to re-record their lines in English while AI technology synced their faces perfectly to the new audio. This innovation made it possible to release the movie worldwide in theaters without losing the authenticity of the original performances. It's important to note that Prime Video only has the AI dub available.
