
LinkedIn is by far my least favorite social media platform. It's full of corporate speak, people patting themselves on the back, and aura farming.
The entire website gives off the same energy as claiming during a job interview that your biggest weakness is that you "work too hard."
But sometimes you have to play the corporate game. Microsoft spent $26 billion to acquire LinkedIn for a reason. Millions of people use it, even if I'm not a fan.
There's a time and place for professional networking and even a bit of "LinkedIn Speak." A new setting in Kagi Translate makes speaking like a corporate robot (or a C-suite executive) a bit easier and a lot more palatable.

LinkedIn Speak translation via Kagi Translate
Kagi Translate is a relatively new app. It works similarly to Google Translate and other translation tools. You enter text on one side of the app and Kagi Translate outputs a translated version of that text in your language of choice.
It's a free tool that tries to differentiate itself from Google Translate by not showing ads or using trackers. If you have a paid Kagi subscription, you'll get access to more features, such as document translation and an advanced dictionary.
But if you just want to enter text in normal English and have Kagi translate it to LinkedIn Speak, you can do that for free to your heart's content.

💬 Is LinkedIn Speak nonsense or necessary?
I think Kagi Translate did a good job rewriting my piece like a LinkedIn post. All the cliches are there, including spinning everything into a positive and overusing emojis.
I'm happy to say that very little of my voice comes through in the translated piece, so few people would assume I actually wrote that text.
