Weapons star Amy Madigan gave a very down-to-earth response when asked if she had prepared a speech in advance of her best supporting actress Oscar win.
“I was in the shower last night and I thought, ‘well, this must be a special day 'cause I'm shaving my legs’,” she said during an appearance in the Academy Awards media room. “I wanted to thank a few people in particular, my family, but that was kind of about it.”
