This Morning viewers speechless over Phil's 'rude' reaction to Spin To Win contestant

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left wincing as they struggled to deal with a Spin To Win contestant on This Morning today.

Caller Rob appeared to be having technical difficulties after saying the correct passcode and struggled to respond to what Holly and Phil were saying.

But some viewers weren't too impressed with how Phil dealt with the situation, branding him "rude".

As some background noise was heard, Phil yelled: "Rob, turn the telly down!"

After a pause, the man replied: "I'm back on."

Phil shouted again: "Turn your telly down!"

"I've turned my telly down, yes," Rob replied.

Holly continued talking as Rob said: "Yes, job done."

Phillip Schofield was clearly frustrated by the Spin To Win winner (ITV)

Phil put his hand over his face as Holly continued: "It's a great day because there's a rollover so you've already won-"

The host interrupted, exclaiming: "Stop saying 'job done'!"

"I've turned the telly on," Rob replied.

"No, turn the telly down!" Phil said, looking very vexed.

"I have, yes," Rob responded.

Phil asked: "Can you hear us normally now?"

"Yes, yes, fine, thank you very much," he replied. "Wonderful."

Holly asked him whether Rob would want the wheel or the balls, to which he replied: "I'm rolling all over the carpet."

Chuckling, Phil asked: "Are you? Would you like the wheel or the balls?"

"The wheel please," Rob replied.

He ended up winning £1,000 alongside the rollover prize of a holiday and £500.

But viewers were left raising their eyebrows, with one commenting: "Phil is brutal isn’t he."

While another commented: "Phil stop being so mean!"

A third fumed: "Phil being rude to him for no reason!"

"Phillip stop being horrid, poor rob he is lovely #ThisMorning," another wrote.
