This Morning viewers slam 'out of touch' show after Mexico holiday segment

This Morning viewers have once again criticised the show for featuring another instalment of a holiday segment in which reporter Georgia Toffolo is seen exploring Mexico.

The Made in Chelsea alum, 27, - who is referred to as Toff - occasionally appears on the ITV magazine programme, with her recently filming scenes abroad for a series of videos.

They show her enjoying "a holiday of a lifetime," with a previous instalment having seen her in a luxury resort in Cancún - which prompted a backlash earlier this month.

Viewers had criticised the segment on social media, with many referring to the cost of living crisis in the UK - with the luxurious holiday scenes branded "tone deaf."

And when another instalment of 'Toff's Mexican Adventure' aired this morning, there was further criticism - with some suggesting that it was offensive amid devastating storms.

The latest instalment showed Toff exploring the state of Yucatán to discover more "hidden gems" within the country.

ITV viewers however weren't impressed, particularly as the footage aired shortly after another segment in which viewers were told how to save money on their shopping.

One viewer said: "So glad This Morning have segments on coupons and how to afford your shopping and then show us [Toff] on her jolly holidays."

"Use vouchers and save a few quid ... now here's Toff in Mexico rubbing your noses in it," said another, whilst a third viewer tweeted: "Shop for less but watch Toff in Mexico."

Others viewer referenced the recent storms, with one commenting on Twitter earlier: "Just what we all need to see on a drab, windy, Monday morning."

Another said: "Showing us [Toff] on holiday in a tropical location while we're all being battered by the third storm in a week, many deciding between heating and eating, is all we bloody need."

The Mirror has approached ITV for comment on this article.

The latest episode of This Morning was a special occasion for the show's co-host Phillip Schofield, as it has been 40 years since the presenter made his TV debut in 1982.

He admitted that he felt "quite emotional" amid the celebrations, with him further commenting: "I'm not comfortable being the massive centre of attention."

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10am.
