This Morning viewers found themselves making a claim about Gino D'Acampo as Alison Hammond made her 'dream' cooking debut on the show. The presenter was back at the helm of the programme on Friday (July 7) as usual alongside Dermot O'Leary.
However, she wasn't just signed up for hosting duties today as she was also asked to step into the kitchen where she created her lasagne spaghetti recipe. Alison, 48, admitted that it has been a dream of hers to do a cookery demonstration on the programme and she couldn't believe she got to share her "Brummie bolognese" live on the ITV daytime show.
"Before I actually made this recipe, I dreamt it. I went to be and I saw this, I was actually like: 'I'm going to one day do this on This Morning,'" she said. "And now, my dreams are actually happening right now on the telly making my spaghetti lasagne."

She soon cracked on with her cooking demo as Dermot watched on from the sidelines. However, the former X Factor host couldn't help but burst out laughing when Alison mixed in her store-bought red and white sauce into the spaghetti, before she planned to add her own homemade one afterwards.
Dermot, 50, was seen hiding behind his napkin as the camera kept zooming in on the ingredients being mushed together in the dish by Alison. Amid his laughter, Dermot begged at one point: "Please, stop putting it on camera!" as Alison defended herself by saying: "Listen, it works, right! You're not going to see that bit till later!"
She then added: "It's very pressurising cooking on telly!" as Dermot tried to compose himself. And after trying his friend and co-star's finished meal, he said: "I have to say Alison, apart from the strange bit in the middle [of the cooking segment], it's really tasty! Well done, thank you so much." He added: "It's Alison Hammond everyone!" as those in the studio started clapping.
But it appears This Morning viewers couldn't believe what they were seeing and there were a few mentions of Italian chef Gino who has been cooking on the programme himself for many years. @GeorgiaBowring tweeted: "#ThisMorning God help Alison if Gino was watching this!"
@Mabel_Mouse_ commented: "@Ginofantastico is going to be swearing at the telly at this abomination #ThisMorning." @sugarcandy1 wrote: "Think I’ve lost my appetite after seeing that. #ThisMorning." @CarlTylerPS5 asked: "#thismorning is this a joke? Wtf is that!!?" @TraylorHolmes laughed: "I think Gino’s safe #ThisMorning."
But others appeared to enjoy it as @Itt39354118 said: "Must admit that cooking seg was funny with Alison #thismorning." @mariahickey1976 added: "Can we please have more of Alison cooking on #ThisMorning? Quick, easy recipes that you can remember off the cuff - my kind of cooking!! Cos who has time to check methods, measurements etc."
