This Morning viewers distracted by Holly Willoughby's out of character skirt choice

This Morning viewers have been left divided over Holly Willoughby's choice of outfit for hosting the ITV programme on Tuesday.

Holly, 42, is known for her gorgeous fashion sense, which usually consists of elegant and feminine pieces.

However, eagle-eyed This Morning viewers felt that Holly's choice of skirt in her latest appearance alongside co-host Phillip Schofield was a different kind of look for her, with fans taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

The TV presenter opted for a quirky neon green midi skirt which did wonders to hug her figure.

She paired the checkered skirt with a loose cream blouse and styled her golden locks in loose waves.

"Holly Willoughby's skirt was a rouge move for her," one This Morning viewer tweeted after seeing the TV star's ensemble on today's show.

"Holly's outfit is so not her! She looks great though as always," another voiced.

Meanwhile, another viewer claimed that they were distracted by Holly's neon green skirt.

"Not a good idea to watch This Morning with a hangover. Especially when Holly's skirt is basically radioactive," the viewer quipped.

It comes after Holly showcased her impressive baking skills during the Coronation celebrations weekend.

Holly wowed her fans with her hidden talent, which took her two days to complete.

The presenter admitted she"couldn't wait to have a slice of the giant crown-shaped cake but was resisting until the big day.

Holly looked overjoyed with her creation as she posted a snap on her Instagram.

Going with the patriotic theme by wearing a red T-shirt and blue jeans, she beamed as she held up the impressive cake for fans to see.

Holly wrote alongside the pic: "Well @julietsear and @thismorning I did it!!! Started it last night and just finished… don’t look too closely…

"It may not be perfect but I can’t wait to have a slice with the kids and a glass of bubbles whilst watching the Coronation tomorrow … whatever and wherever you are this weekend enjoy the moment and I hope the cake is involved somewhere!"

The cake was shaped like a crown, with large edible jewels attached and white frosting for the fur.
