This Morning viewers wondered if they were 'hallucinating' as they tuned into the penultimate episode of the week. Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Thursday (May 4) with more royal chatter ahead of the King's Coronation this weekend.
However, they also started the show by celebrating another occasion - Star Wars Day. After welcoming viewers to the show and mentioning the day inspired by the mega movie franchise, Holly, 42, said: "And to celebrate we're joined by the best dancing stormtroopers in the galaxy."
"They've taken a break from patrolling the empire to join us in the studio," Phillip, 61, added as former Britain's Got Talent act Boogie Storm entered the studio and began dancing to a selection of well-known pop hits.

And while Holly and Phillip appeared to enjoy the live performance from the show's famous sofa, This Morning viewers watching from home weren't quite so convinced.
@Cherylscribs tweeted: "I haven't slept for 48 hours, so can someone tell me if I'm hallucinating watching storm troopers dancing Diversity style? #ThisMorning." @Ophelia_ButtsUK quipped: "Why am I finding the dancing storm troopers really erotic? #ThisMorning." Meanwhile, @bensmith199703 begged: "Please make it stop, please. #ThisMorning."
It comes after viewers complained about the amount of coverage being dedicated to the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday (May 6). Earlier this week the show's line-up included an interview with royal photographer Chris Jackson, who is set to take photos of the royals up on the balcony this weekend and, Clodagh McKenna was in the kitchen where she showed Holly and Phil, and special guest Richard E Grant, how to make cheesy baked eggs - reported to be one of Charles' favourite dishes.
But it appears the Coronation-heavy content was a bit too much for some This Morning viewers who flocked to social media to complain. @dollynoocat tweeted: "Jesus wept. How much time can they devote to the coronation. I am switching off for the rest of the week. Soul destroying listening to it."
@louloulock1 quipped: "Let's play a game tomorrow. We take a shot every time someone says the word coronation. That will get us through Wednesday #ThisMorning." @Samanth08478617 complained: "Talk about kill the occasion before its even happened. You are wringing the s**t out of the coronation #ThisMorning." @TraylorHolmes added: "I’m royal’d out. And it’s only Tuesday #ThisMorning #Coronation."
Meanwhile, on Friday (May 5), a major change is set to be made to the programme. The special episode of This Morning will see the show ditch the London-based studio and head up to Greater Manchester. To celebrate the King's coronation, which takes place on Saturday (May 6), Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary will be bringing the programme to viewers live from the cobbles of Coronation Street.
