Alison Hammond has been shortlisted for Best Presenter at the National Television Awards which takes place tonight (October 13), and pal Gok Wan thinks she deserves it.
The star who found fame on Big Brother has previously told The Mirror of her desire to win the famous gong as it would "mean a lot" to her.
However, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have also been shortlisted – having won it for the past 20 years.
This year, Gok Wan who appears on This Morning alongside Alison believes the mum-of-one is worthy of taking home the award.
Speaking to The Mirror in partnership with Bupa's This Is Health campaign, about who could win, he said: "I don't know, I've got no idea.
"I absolutely adore Alison, she's a really good friend of mine, we work together, we always have lots and lots of fun.
"She's no different from what you see on screen, she's absolutely amazing, I think she's a very deserving winner but equally, so are Ant and Dec."
He went on to say: "Alison, there is nobody else like her, they definitely broke the mould with her and I'm so glad they did because she is such a gift for us all," explaining we should be celebrating Alison's success.
Gok often appears on This Morning, which has become the centre of a media storm recently but admits that the atmosphere on set is very much dependent on the individual's mindset.
"More often than not, it's fine, a lot of it is down to how relaxed you are on screen," he explained before continuing: "If you've not had enough sleep, or you're a bit tired or a bit stressed out, you need to focus slightly more.
"There's a responsibility that comes with live TV as it's entertainment and you've got to be technically different to where you are if you're pre-recording."
Discussing teaming up with Bupa which will see an exclusive Spotify playlist launch showcase some of the best music, he said: "I'm a massive massive music lover, I don't watch too much TV or films, I've always got music on and obviously being a DJ as well.
"A campaign like this, to me is massively important because I know the power of music and what it can do to our for our mental health or for our physical health as well. So yeah, I feel very passionate about it and very excited."
Gok added: "We would love as many people as possible to to add their music to the playlists which we're launching today.
"This is the greatest gift that we can all give each other at the moment to relieve stress and make each other happy and share something which is very, very personal to us."
